Aniara with Sign Language Interpretation

Experience the dance theatre performance 'Aniara' with Swedish sign language integrated on Friday 1 November.

Harry Martinson's classical epic poem as a dance and theatre experience with Skånes Dansteater and Moomsteatern. The actors of Moomsteatern and the dancers of Skånes Dansteater collaborate for the first time. By mixing dance, music and theatre, we want to tell Harry Martinson's important story. We want to create a performance that is like a poem that you can see.

Swedish sign language integration

Friday November 1, 'Aniara' will be performed with sign-language integrated with sign-language interpreter and actor Eva Zaar joinging the actors and dancers on stage.

Book you tickets named Sign Language on this website, by email to biljetter@skanesdansteater.se or by phone 0703-44 58 11. Please choose seats on rows 2-4, to ensure the best possible view of the sign-language interpreter.

’Aniara’ is a part of the project Europe Beyond Access co-financed by the Creative Europe program of the European Union.

For me, Aniara is a story about how we humans are bad at understanding our own situation. How we find it difficult to look critically at what we do.
