SWOP Dance Club
Want to meet new people, share traditions and dance together? At SWOP Dance Club, young people from different cultures and backgrounds meet to talk, have coffee and dance. The workshops are led by dancers from Skånes Dansteater.
COME AND MEET NEW FRIENDS!
SWOP is a open space where people, ny to Malmö can meet, have coffee and dance together. We mix languages, cultural backgrounds and experiences. Everyone between 15 and 60 years old is welcome!
We meet over a cup of coffee and then go to the studio where we together try different types of dance. The workshops are led by the dancers from Skånes Dansteater. We have about 2 workshops a month, all with different content. You can come as often as you like, once or several times.
We meet every other Monday at 18.00–20.00 at Skånes Dansteater.
All SWOPs are free, and so are the coffee. Since the workshop has limited numbers, sign-up is required.

Good to know
- No previous dance experience is required.
- We start by having coffee together. Then we dance in our dance studio.
- We talk a lot of different languagues in SWOP, but the workshop i usually held in English.
- Our dance workshops welcome all abilities.
- We often dance in socks or barefoot.
