VÅR DAG

"VÅR DAG" is an all-encompassing art experience and dance performance that brings together light, touch and color in one work: a glittering playground where the movement of light meets the passage of time, where sound becomes touch, and dance is transferred from body to body. 

"VÅR DAG" awakens the desire to explore". Four dancers create an immersive dance experience that frames a moment filled with light and color in the winter gloom.

The performance is general admission with the audience seated on all sides of the stage. Your ticket doesn't have a specific row or seat number. All seats are located on ground floor, in case you wish to avoid using stairs or if you use a wheelchair.

"Relaxed performance" 

This season "VÅR DAG" is also performed as a "Relaxed performance" January 28 and 30, a concept welcoming anyone who prefers or needs a more flexible and relaxed performance experience.

It specifically welcomes disabled persons, but also welcomes anyone who is new or unused to being at the theater or uncomfortable in a regular performance setting. You might have small babies or need to be able to move around or exit during the performance or exit frequently.

At a "Relaxed Performance" there is an generous and relaxed attitude towards audience noise and movement in the auditorium. You are welcome to move around, dance, be vocal or just watch the performance.

The performance's audio levels are softer to create a comfortable atmosphere.

Audio description

For persons with visual impairment or blindness, experience the dance performance 'VÅR DAG' with audio description on February the 1st.

Audio Description is a live verbal commentary of the visual elements of a performance. This service can be beneficial for audiences who are blind or have a visual impairment. This audio description is done live by Lotta Swahn in Swedish.
