Open Rehearsal: Attempting Alchemy
See the making of a dance performance! Follow choreographer Ludvig Daae and our dancers as the create the new performance "Attempting Alchemy".
Take a peek behind the scenes and see some of the intense work leading up to the premiere of 'Attempting Alchemy'.
The making of a performance
What is it like to work as a dancer? Our open rehearsals are an opportunity to get a close look into the artistic process where the elements of a performance are tested, developed and refined. That everyday life of both choreographers and our dancers. Open rehearsal is not the finished performance, but a chance to follow the work behind the scenes.
Open rehearsal consists of about 45 minutes of rehearsals and ends with about 15 minutes of Q&A where you have the opportunity to ask questions to the choreographer or our dancers about the upcoming performance 'Attempting Alchemy' or their artistry. To secure your place, you need to book a ticket, but the tickets are free of charge.

I believe the closest we come to utopia are the brief, little moments when we interact with the world. A short second when everything works, flies, syncs and falls into place.
