Dance Workshop: Sunday Up-And-Down-And-Up

A dance workshop exploring our dance performance "Up-And-Down-And-Up" by choreographer Jernej Bizjak. In our Sunday workshops we spend the day delving into contemporary dance and the choreography of our performances. This is an opportunity for you to explore techniques and material from our current performances together with our dancers.

How does the creative process behind a performance evolve? In our Sunday workshops we share insight into the choreographers' and dancers' work in the making of movement material.

About the workshop

"Up-And-Down-And-Up" is a movement-based performance inviting audiences to experience how sheer movement can have a powerful impact on our state of mind. The project focuses on the perception of individual and collective happiness, while upholding a critical attitude against the prevailing perception of happiness conditioned by external factors rather than our own free will.
