5 March – 6 March 2025
2-Day Dance Workshop 60+ with Efva Lilja
A unique two-day free dance workshop for everyone over 60 years led by choreographer Efva Lilja guest performing at the theater in March.
What makes movement into dance?
The life we lead influences how we move. Our personality, our experiences and our memories live in our bodies, in our movements. For several years, choreographer Efva Lilja has been working with memory as a phenomenon. Personal, collective, political memories and how they inform our actions.
In this two-day workshop we will work on how we can choreographically structure and compose these movements into dance. Efva will share her choreographic methods with you and perhaps also share the research she has previously done on movement as body memory with dancers aged 63-90.
Watch Efva Lilja's guest performance '... and they both fell into the sky' on March 4 and then familiarize yourself with Efva's choreographic methods and processes, and enjoy everything we can generate in the dance studio together!
