Aniara - Rehearsal and Artist Talk in Finnish
Peak into the rehearsals of our upcoming performance of Swedish epic classic 'Aniara' and meet the Finnish artists in the ensemble.
Welcome to the ongoing studio rehearsals of the dance theater production 'Aniara' based on Harry Martinsson's novel. This exciting collaboration joining dance and theater involves several artists from Finland. At this event you will meet the dancers and actors of Skånes Dansteater and Moomsteatern as they create the performance in the studio. After the rehearsal our Artistic Director and CEO Mira Helenius Martinsson will be joined by our dancer Emma Välimäki and choreographer and director Carl Knif in an artist talk exploring central themes and creative methods used in the creation of 'Aniara'
'Aniara' premieres on October 18 at Skånes Dansteater.
