Stacey Aung

Stacey Aung is a California native who received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of California, Irvine with a full scholarship and departmental honors in 2007. She has danced with numerous repertory companies – Hubbard Street 2, Luna Negra Dance Theater, Saarländisches Staatstheater, Norrdans, and more as a freelance artist with Dansalliansen. Over the years, she has performed works by Johan Inger, Alexander Ekman, Jirí Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Stijn Celis, Marcos Morau/La Veronal, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Martin Forsberg, Fernando Melo, and Örjan Andersson.

Stacey’s fruitful relationship with Mari Carrasco began in 2017 with the production ’Paper Plane’.

Spring 2025 Stacey performs in ’In Wind or Dust’ at Skånes Dansteater.
