Internationally acclaimed Swedish choreographer Örjan Andersson sits down with host Tiemen Stemerding on the day before the premiere of the re-staging of ‘Mozart’s Requiem’. A collaboration between Skånes Dansteater, Malmö Opera Chorus and Malmö Opera Orchestra performing with over 50 people on Malmö Opera’s big stage. The work originally premiered in 2019, with Tiemen as one of the dancers.
They uncover Örjan’s creative processes and talk about the strong relationship between music and dance. About form, rhythm and flow. Örjan shares his experience of staging large scale works involving dancers, musicians, and actors. He also talks about the will to create work that communicate with the audience.
