Peder Nilsson

Peder Nilsson was born in Sunne, Sweden. His professional training was given at the modern department at the Swedish Ballet School After graduating 1999 he worked for a year at Skånes Dansteater.

Peder has worked with choreographers such as Per Jonsson, Bo Arenander, Lena Josefsson, Carl-Olof Berg, Jo Strömgren, Cristina Caprioli, Angelin Preljocaj, Uri Ivgi, Örjan Andersson, Vincent Mantsoe, Marie Brolin-Tani, Tim Rushton, Virpi Pahkinen, Didy Veldman, Rui Horta, Kenneth Kvarnström, Petter Jacobsson, Thomas Caley, Tommi Kitti, Susanne Jaresand, Hofesch Schechter, Helena Franzén and Fredrik Rydman.

Peder was choreographic assistant in Björn Ulvéus' and Benny Andersson's musical CHESS at Cirkus in Stockholm 2002. He has also taught Contemporary dance and Contact Improvisation.

Out of the communnity dance production C me, choreography by Caroline Bowditch and Melody Putu, the duet Dare to Wreck was expanded and turned into an independent work by Peder and co-dancer and co-choreographer Madeleine Månsson, dancer at Skånes Dansteater, which has since 2016 toured internationally as well as become a short film titled Wrecked Pulse, filmed by Pelle Hybbinette 2017.
