Today most of the ticket purchases take place online on this website, but we are more than happy to help you with your ticket requests or answer any questions about tickets you migth have. Contact us by email or by phone to make ticket reservations for groups or discount tickets.

How to buy tickets on skanesdansteater.se

  1. Choose the production, date and seat you with to buy tickets to and place them in the online cart.
  2. Log in using your email address and password. If this is the first time you are purchasing a ticket to the dance theatre you will need to leave additional contact information.

    Please note: Malmö Opera, Malmö Live, Malmö Stadsteater and Skånes Dansteater have a joined ticket system. When you create an account with either of the organizations, the same account details are used to log in to all four.
  3. Pay for your tickets with your bank card, such as Visa, MasterCard etc.
  4. When your payment has been completed you will see your order summary including, seats, order reference number etc.
  5. The tickets are sent in pdf format to your email address. You don't have to print your ticket, showing the pdf on your phone to the front of house staff before the performance works fine.

Log on to your account to send yourself copies of the pdf tickets or see your order history.

At Skånes Dansteater: 200-260 kr.

At Malmö Opera: 210-345 kr.

Family productions: 120 kr.

50% off under 26 years

All under 26 years pay half price for regular tickets.
Applies to all days of the week and all seats in the audiotirum, except Lunch Dance and family performances.

25% off for seniors

All senior citizens over 65 years are entitled to a 25% discount on regular tickets. Applies to all days of the week and all seats in the audiotirum, except Lunch Dance and family performances.

Students

All students pay half price for regular tickets. Please note that a current student ID needs to be presented to the front of house staff before the performance.

School tickets

School tickets to regular performances cost 50 kr/student.

Accessibility

The first row in our auditorium is on floor level. When purchasing tickets online via this website there are four marked wheelchair seats in the 'select your own seat' map. Feel free to choose either the marked seats, or any of the other seats on the row, if you are a wheelchair user or if you avoid using stairs.

Riksteaterns Scenpass

Members of Sweden’s National Touring Theatre (Riksteatern) with a Scenpass card are entitled to a 25% discount off the regular ticket price. Your discount tickets are accessed by applying a promo code before you choose your seat for a performance.

Union Members of Scen & Film

Member of The Swedish Union for Performing Arts and Film are entitled to a 50% discount on the regular ticket price. Your discount tickets are accessed by applying a promo code before you choose your seat for a performance.

Members of Danscentrum Syd

Gift Cards

Skånes Dansteater's gift cards are valid for payment of tickets to our performances at the dance theatre and to our performances at Malmö Opera. The gift card can be used for partial or full online payments on this website. Do you wish to buy tickets to our performances at Malmö Opera, please contact us by phone 0703-44 58 11 or by email to biljetter@skanesdansteater.se
When you wish to use your gift card to pay for tickets online, type the gift card number in the box marked PRESENTKORT. Do not type the code in the box marked PROMO CODE.
Gift cards are valid two years from purchase.

Ticket Exchange

Contact us if you need to change your tickets for another date. When tickets are returned the value of the tickets is placed on a gift card. The gift card can be used for partial or full online payments for tickets to Skånes Dansteater's performances. Gift cards are valid two years from purchase. We do not refund tickets.
